Working from a life model in this workshop you will be able to choose what size you'd like to sculpt... 1/2 life-size figure down to 1/4 life-size; Life-size portrait or torso down to 1/2 life-size; Quick Sketch sculpting or a combination of all of these. Anatomy, Proportions and Gesture are all covered as well as intense accuracy in depicting the Figure model. This class welcomes all levels of experience.

Beginning Sculpting techniques

In this 10 week workshop all levels of experience are welcome. We work from plaster casts as you learn the drawing in Space Method of Sculpting. Karen walks you through this additive process expressing the techniques, tools and materials on how to achieve accuracy in sculpting from a plaster cast of the Nose, Ear or Mouth, Foot, hand or Skull.
